Cattle at SC Auctions on Thursday: Compared to last week, there were too few comparable sales to establish trends. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 165.00-180.00; 500-600 lbs 157.00-172.00. Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 165.00-190.00; 500-600 lbs 155.00-170.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 150.00-163.00, 500-600 lbs 140.00-155.00. Slaughter cows were steady.

Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 76.00-86.00; Boners 80-85% lean 75.00-88.00; Lean 85-90% lean 75.00-88.00; Lean Low Dressing 70.00-85.00.

Slaughter bulls were steady. Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 1380-2175 lbs 100.00-115.00; High Dressing none reported; Low Dressing 1115-2070 lbs 85.00-95.00.

Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1-2 1005-1290 lbs Young to Middle Age cows with calves under 300 lbs 1025.00-1350.00 per pair. Thursday. Corn bids were 3 cents lower; elevator bids 6.93-7.68, processor bids 7.18-7.53. Soybeans bids were 3 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 13.46-14.50, processor bids 15.26 and export N/A. Wheat bids were 3 to 16 cents lower; elevator bids 7.03-7.44.

Southeast base price Thursday for 41-4/3 4 grade was 2.22 higher at 112.32.
